Pukkelpop
I’ve been away at Pukkelpop in Belgium and had a great time, although I’ve learned that Belgians don’t know how to party at festivals.
Highlights for me were Beck, who played a great set with live puppetry, Gogol Bordello, a band I hadn’t seen or heard before which I really enjoyed, and Daft Punk playing an awesome set (pictured).
I also enjoyed the pleasant company of (in no particular order) Ben, Amy (Woodhouse), Nick (I’ve been Nick Batty, Good Night), Pi (who fell asleep for pretty much a whole day), Cris, George, Ju, Si Hirst, Ed Ball and Mia.
