Munkyfest

Munkyfest was excellent again!

Although I’ve only been to it twice, I again woke up on the Sunday with a hangover and a feeling I had been part of something quite special. And on the train on the way home, I read through the full ‘social and economic history of Munkyfest’. Quite a journey those guys have been on. I feel sad that it’s all over, so I guess Matt, Clare, Beezly and all the ‘crew’ must be feeling that way too… Or maybe they’re still sleeping on it.

Anyway I was a bit lazy about sharing photos last year (have lots from then too) but here’s a selection from last weekend:

    Munkyfest
    Yeah,

I had a great time again!

Although you do feel a bit “special” when it comes to decamp time and your heads all spinny.

It’s a shame that there won’t be one next year :-(

Three cheers for the Munkyfest organisers!

    Mmmunkyfest.
My first time at Munkyfest, and evidently my last.
However, I thought it kicked arse so much. I’m in love.

    Now that we’ve finished
Now that we’ve finished clearing up the field, I think we’ve all realised that this year, we finally cracked it – we can do festivals! It took us less than a week to turn a field into Munkyfest, and exactly 2 days to return it to its natural state.

It is quite sad that its over, I’m loving looking at people’s pictures and reading the nice comments people keep posting on myspace about it.

By the way Harry, I’m very sorry that I forgot to say Happy Birthday, I think my brain had stopped working by Sunday lunchtime!

    To quote Clare…

“think we’ve all realised that this year, we finally cracked it – we can do festivals!”

… with our eyes shut. We rule!
